This is an awesome application. I was manually pinging the links to my posts. It took forever, this is a great way to automate an important backlink tool. I am going to have to try it out.
Looks great, but I’ve got some questions…For example, Pingomatic often stops me from pinging stuff two times in a row, even if it’s from different sites. By using Pingthingr, will I run into this problem as well? It’s really annoying to have to “schedule” my pings because Pingomatic limits me.
Also, are there any other uses for this tool? I mean, how would I use it other than Social Monkee? For 37 dollars it seems a bit steep as just a Social Monkee “helper”.

I use this program to ping my articles on Ezine Articles and others; Also I use it to ping Google Places pages and the content that links in to that – it’s a good tool to ping just about any URL you want, not just Social Monkee.
