Here’s A Free Stat Counter Program That Works
Here is an easy recommendation if you want a ‘real-time’ web analytics solution: StatCounter.com.
It’s free, and has tons of stats - you can even make the counter code invisible on your page. I use Google Analytics, but I like to add StatCounter’s code to my pages as well, so I can get ‘real time’ stats - Google Analytics only refreshes their stat report daily.

For some more powerful reports, give GoStats a try. (We have several features that statcounter doesn’t)
Thanks for your link - your service looks good too. I did notice you charge to to hide your logo and provides the map feature -both are free on StatCounter.

This would be very useful, except for the fact that I have the WP-Stats plugin on my Wordpress blog which does more or less, the same thing.

Just a thought…You know if you use igoogle and get the analytics plugin, you can measure stats there by the hour? I’ve been doing it for quite sometime now. Although statcounter does have some additional features. One day I’m really going to get excited when I can get Omniture Site Catalyst. I’ve seen a demo of it and it’s like a Lamborgini compared to a pinto with the programs we’re talking about here.
