Google Index Checker for Backlink Index Express

by Carl

Many of you have requested that I add a feature to Backlink Index Express that checks to see if your backlink profiles are actually in the Google index.  After looking at several approaches, we chose to implement an Ajax based script that uses the Google API.  Best of all – it’s all integrated with Backlink Index Express.vector-magnifying-glass-thumb3890889

Simply upload the plugin files to an existing install of BIE – set whether or not you want email reports – and create an additional cron job.  Each time the script runs, it checks 10 links in your postedlinks.txt file.  If it finds a url in the Google index, the script removes the url from postedlinks.txt and copies it to a archive file.

The reason for this is simple: once a url is in the Google index, BIE has done it’s job, and there is no added benefit to keeping it in the system – you need to make room for more of your UN-INDEXED links in your BIE feeds and posts.

This plugin is easy to install, and uses simply amazing technology.  You can choose to get an email report each time the script runs or not.  Maximize your BIE efficiency with this amazing plugin.

This is now part of Backlink Index Express Version 5 – more info.
