for the non-techies here (and I mean me), can you explain how we use this ? I mean, it is a script that I install and then I put feeds in there and that gives me a new feed to use ?

You just supply a partial feed to the script as a url parameter – (full video instructions included) – and it returns a full text feed.

STUPID QUESTION: Is there a way to (scrape) get RSS text, from sights that do NOT have an RSS feed?
Is this a stand-alone script that will post to your blog automatically, or is something like WP Robot required in order to post to your blog?
Hi Fran, you do need a poster program like WP-Robot (or better yet, Backlink Index Express!) to use this for autoblogging.

Question, how does google view rss scrape content to be used for your sites? What are your thoughts on this?
Again I don’t want my sites to take a hit later on down the road because I am using scrape rss content.

Chris, all duplicated content is at risk according to Google. Would I use scraped content on this blog? No. Would I use it for feeder sites, adsense sites and indexer blogs – yes.
Do other blogs use my content from this blog?- yes. Are they ranking higher than me? – no. Are they de-indexed? I don’t know, I don’t follow them.
Just think through what you use content for and Why. Scraped content is never going to replace real content at the ‘point of the spear’ where you wish to convert sales. But it can be an aid to getting that point in front of your customer.

Most rss directories work – EZA seems to be able to block these feeds after a time, don’t know why. But most other article dirs seem to work just fine.
Will my hosting IP be banned by this : strip all of their contents via RSS Feeds ? As I currently have this problem with other auto posting plugin and I been using it since 2008 without any single problem but days ago . . . BUM ! I can’t fetch a single article from Articles Base any longer now.

It really depends how often you hit the feed – the feed caches for 30 minutes. On most shared hosting, I would not try to re-cache a new feed faster than once every 10 minutes.

I don’t have ioncube installed on my server, which is running on nginx. Can I still use FMRSS?
Ion Cube is no longer needed with FMRSS
The only site I could find that did this was FeedYes.com, but alas, their feeds would not read into FullMetalRSS -even after I burned the FeedYes feed in Feedburner, and turned on compatibility, it just won’t pull the content. So I would say the site would have to have a feed for FMRSS to work.
Create a feedburner feed from the AB feeds and use those…
