Are you looking for a good source of content for your WordPress blogs? Remember ArticleMarketer? They used to offer a publisher service that allowed you to get the hundreds of articles they published every day – for free. Well ArticleMarketer is dead, but one service that has come back to serve the AM community is called ContentCrooner.com – and they have a FREE publisher service!

Set-And-Forget WordPress Auto Posting

The script that I’m offering here takes the articles from Content Crooner and sends them to YOUR WordPress blogs automatically. No more junk posts – CC edits and approves every article – they are full, keyword-rich articles. You can choose what categories of articles you wish to receive, and can control the rate of posting, as well as the size of the articles your WordPress blogs receive.

Enter PostFeedr:

My script is called PostFeedr – and it’s amazing. It takes the content from Content Crooner, and feeds it to one OR MORE of your blogs using XML-RPC. This is not a WordPress Plugin – it’s a standalone script that works with the WordPress API to do automatic posting.

Auto-Creation Of Categories And Tags

PostFeedr automatically creates the categories in your blog, and maps the article keywords to tags on autopilot. You can have a blog rich in content in less than 24 hours! And this is FRESH content, not PLR junk! Plus, you get to control how many and what kind of articles your blog will receive!

FAQ’s:

How many blogs can I post to?

-Post to as many as you like – ie: put 5 blogs in your PostFeedr data file, and each article from CC will be sent to a different blog at random. That way each blog will have DIFFERENT content.

How much is the Content Crooner distribution service?

-Publisher accounts on CC are FREE

Does this violate CC’s terms of service?

-Nope; the articles sent from CC will contain the author’s full post, with resource box links.

How hard is this to set up?

-My script can be configured in a couple of minutes – it takes about 15-20 minutes to set up your Content Crooner publisher account. This is the easiest install of any product we have ever had.

How many posts will I get per day?

-You’ll get around 50-100 per day, you can control your CC account and get fewer, and/or add more blogs to the script and spread them out over more blogs.

This is a great compliment to my other product, Backlink Index Express – you can post to the same set of blogs with BIE and PostFeedr!

As with all my offers, I have a 30 day, no quibble guarantee, if you are not happy, you get your money back.
If you need blog content – this is how to get good quality content FAST. Order my PostFeedr script today!

1 Script + WordPress + The Power Of RSS = One Brilliant Strategy

Introducing: Backlink Index Express

I have 3 questions for you:

Are you tired of waiting weeks to see your backlinks indexed?

Are the link packet backlinks you are working so hard to create never indexed?

Do you like automation?

If you are going to spend all of that time and money building backlinks to your site, wouldn’t it be worth $47 and one hour of your time to make sure your backlinks are actually working for you?

Let me explain what I mean. Your backlinks are only have power when they are INDEXED by Google. If a backlink is invisible to Google, it is essentially worthless.

So let me ask you: what is the best way to make sure a page on the Internet is seen and indexed by Google? If you said "Backlink that page" – you would be correct! So the cure for the ‘Invisible Backlink’ is simply ‘backlink your backlinks’!

NEW! WordPress Auto Posting

Since the sites used with the older versions of BIE keep shutting down users – I have decided to bypass those sites and allow BIE to post to your OWN network of WordPress blogs. Don’t have a network of blogs – don’t worry, setting up WordPress is a breeze and many web hosts offer one-click installs.

NEW! Index Checker Script Now Included

BIE now includes the popular index checker script – it’s optional to use, but is great for those processing a lot of links. It checks Google for links that are in their index, and takes them out of the ping/submit rotation – making room and devoting 100% of resources to links that are NOT indexed.

Powerful New Features In Version 6:

For our purpose here, we’ll refer to Backlink Index Express V6 as BIE. BIE is a powerful script that allows you to quickly and easily ‘backlink your backlinks’ using the latest Web 2.0 technologies.

BIE takes a list of your profile backlink url’s and submits them to your own network of WordPress blogs, automatically. BIE also creates a master rss feed of all of your backlink url’s – and that feed can be pinged to the feed aggregator services using BIE’s built-in ping feature.

You can feed BIE your backlinks via an RSS feed, like one from Icerocket, RSS2HMTL or Backlink Booster. We call this the RSS Feed Option. Or if you prefer, you can simply paste all your backlink url’s into a text file and feed BIE from that file – we call that method the Text File Option. If you choose the Text File Option, you can also use BIE’s built in Bookmarklet Button Submission button.

BIE also has a synonymizer feature - a large database of synonyms is built in, and does a nice job of making your content unique for your posts. You can configure BIE to reuse your links, or can choose to only have the link posted once – handy if you have hundreds of links to post.

Example 1: You are just starting to create backlinks, and want to use the BIE bookmarklet submission feature; it’s simple – just browse to the page that contains your profile backlink, and click the BIE bookmarklet. BIE will queue the link to your blog network and pinged to the ping services. Since BIE executes every 10 minutes, your links are submitted and indexed very quickly.

Example 2: You already have a bunch of backlinks and have never submitted them to any sites. Again, it’s easy- just paste your list of backlink url’s to the proper text file – and BIE will process them automatically.

Example 3: You have a bunch of RSS feeds of your profile link url’s. No problem, put as many feed url’s as you want into BIE and they will be processed automatically.
You can post your profile backlinks multiple times, or just once, your choice.

Intelligent RSS feed creation – BIE creates a Master RSS feed of all of your links automatically. And not just a feed of links – you can supply keywords to BIE and it will pull feed content from the web to incorporate into your Master RSS feed. You choose the keywords.

Rotating anchor text - the old BIE only gave you ‘click here’ for your blog posts’ anchor text. With BIE V4, you can specify rotating anchor text for your links.

Auto-pinging; the old BIE required you to run a separate file to ping your RSS feeds – now you only have to set up a schedule (cron job) for one file that does it all.

Secure configuration area: BIE now has a simple security system that protects your Bookmarklet Submission from being used by others. You set up a secret code, and only you have access to your system.
BIE will also show you the exact commands to use when setting up the cron jobs on your server – not just examples, but the exact commands you need to run for your specific installation.

Intelligent support and debugging – we have built in robust remote support capability so if you do have an issue with setting up BIE, we can quickly diagnose your setup and tell you what is wrong. This feature is integrated with the BIE security system mentioned above.

Data Upload – BIE now has a browser-based UPLOAD UTILITY that allows you to import url and feed data from other products like Backlink Bazooka. Integrate with just one click!

BACKLINK Your BACKLINKS!

You’ll be glad to know that there is an automated way to do this. You don’t have to get bogged down with another daily ‘process’ that sucks your time and energy. I have been providing Internet marketing tools for several years through my blog. After I became a customer of Terry Kyle’s excellent products – I saw an opportunity to skyrocket the effectiveness of ANY backlinking strategy.

Backlink Index Express is a script that runs on your web server – but it’s much more than that; it’s a strategy that links the latest innovative technologies together to form a powerful backlinking technique. My technique uses RSS and WordPress in a way you may have not thought of before.

Let’s Take A Look:

Auto-Blogging On Steroids

Here is how it works: You create an RSS feed of your backlink urls – then Backlink Index Express mixes your links from this feed into blog posts that are automatically fed to your blog sites. Every five minutes, the system posts to the WordPress blog sites – and each post contains a link to one of your backlink pages on a forum or community site! But that is not all – the script also collects the RSS feed from EACH of the blogs and automatically PINGS the search engines after each post is made!

To run this system you need about one hour of setup time, to set up the blogs involved. You also need a web hosting account to run the PHP script. No database is needed, the only tricky part is setting up 2 cron jobs. You’ll get a one-hour video that shows you, step-by-step how it’s all done.

Once you are set up, all you have to do is add your NEW backlink urls to your BIE system – and everything else is automated from there. The script will post your links on the WordPress blogs – and the search engines will get a ping every time the blogs are updated.

FAST Indexing Of Backlinks

Want proof this system works? If you have a few minutes, watch my video that shows, step-by-step how I got my backlinks indexed in 6 days:

Yes, it’s true you CAN make ALL of your backlinks count with an automated system that is really easy to set up. I provide you with over an hour of video instruction on how to set everything up, step-by-step. And with all of this at a very special price of $47 it’s a no-brainer! You get the script, access to the training videos, along with my full support.

If you have a membership system, blog or e-learning application, you most likely want to put your new sign-ups into some type of autoresponder system at the same time. However, you really don’t want to make them sign up twice – once for your application, and once for the autoresponder. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could auto-subscribe your new members to your mailing list application automatically?

If you use Aweber, or a similar service, you can just have your membership system shoot an email to yourListName@aweber.com – your recipient will automatically receive an opt-in verification message from Aweber. Many 3rd party services are integrated with Aweber, like E-Junkie – you can configure the E-Junkie cart to prompt Aweber to send a verification message automatically.

What if you run your own autoresponder script? What if your autoresponder script does not support subscribe by email? Is there a way to easily integrate an autoresponder script with another type of system? Thankfully, the answer is ‘Yes’ – with a little PHP scripting.

PHP supports a very cool little extension called cURL – this library of software magic allows you to automate lots of things over the Internet – including the filling out of autoresponder subscription forms. To get this to work, you need PHP with cURL support (most any unix/linux webhost). If you don’t know if your host has this, just ask.

Step 1 : get the html source of your autoresponder subscription form – make sure it’s the form for the correct mailing list – as most scripts put some kind of long ‘form id’ within the sign-up form. This code tells the autoresponder which list the form is requesting. Note: if you are using a service like Aweber Get the HTML version of your form, not the javascript version. Open the html form in your notepad application.

You will need to document following from your autoresponder html submission form:

1. The post action url (note that for some autoresponders, the subscribe script may have a querystring variable appended to the script, to help identify the correct mailing list or account-I’ve included one in this example- not all scripts will require a querystring):

<form method="post" action=http://scriptdomain.com/path/subscribe.php?listID=343 >

2. The Name and Email name attributes:

<input value="" name="FirstName" type="text" size="30" >

	background-color: #f4f4f4;
	width: 100%;
	margin: 0em;
}
.csharpcode .lnum { color: #606060; }

Your code will look a bit different, but all these forms have a name and email input field. You want to note the ‘name’ attributes – you’ll need them for the script.

3. Now identify any ‘hidden’ input fields in your form and note the ‘name’ attribute.

<input type="hidden" name="FormCode"

4. Next, document all of the form fields for your script:

url: http://scriptdomain.com/path/subscribe.php?listID=343

Form Fields:

And that’s all you do! Each time your form processing script executes, the user’s name and email are sent to your autoresponder script for processing.

curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS, $data);

// grab URL, and print

Now save this script with any name you want, upload to your server and load it into your web browser. If all is working, you’ll get an email from your autoresponder script.

Troubleshooting tips:

Make sure you have the correct form field names from the sign up form

Make sure your path to the subscribe.php or whatever it’s called for your autoresponder system is correct.

Be sure that your web host allows cURL (almost all do).

The #1 coding error for PHP beginners – forgetting the semicolon at the end of each line!

It is ultimately the buyer who decides which is best.

Don’t allow yourself to come to any conclusions about your ad copy unless it is supported by testing evidence. If you don’t have a method to test new copywriting variations and measure the results, you wont maximize your copy’s potential. The sole reason for your ad copy is to make a sale. It is not designed to enhance your image or to win any creativity contests. Your ad copy only exists to make sales.

Don’t rely on gut instinct or the opinions of other to evaluate your ad copy. You buyers will ultimately tell which is your most effective ad copy. It doesn’t matter if you use multivariate testing or split testing, just test! Once your buyers have told you which copy is the best, make this your control copy. Now try to beat that control with something new. Often, your proven ad copy will prevail over the new copy.

Don’t let that deter you. You have to test to uncover all of your customer’s likes and dislikes. Stop guessing in your marketing efforts and start continuously testing your ad copy. Listen to your buyers in a measured and scientific way. Only trust your buyers to tell you the truth. This is the only way your will know.

For years, we’ve been using email auto responder services like Aweber to communicate to readers and potential customers. One of the more popular techniques used is the blog announcement – an automated email that goes out every time you create a post. This technique keeps your readers engaged and encourages them to come back to your blog often.

Aweber has a feature that monitors the feed from your blog and when it sees a post – it triggers a pre-formatted email to your list. It’s not hard to configure and is very reliable. But if you are using your auto responder service primarily to send out blog announcements, you are paying for a service that you can get for free – using FeedBurner.

FeedBurner is a free blogger service that takes your rss feed and packages it into many innovative delivery options. If you are new to FeedBurner, it takes a bit to get the hang of what they are really offering. The best way to learn is to simply create an account and start playing with it. It’s free – and the service has been recently acquired by Google.

Burn a feed and sign up for the email service – you’ll get simple code to put on your site that allows readers to opt-in to an email version of your blog – complete with attractive layouts, links, etc. It’s totally double opt-in, and works flawlessly.

Here is what the opt-in form looks like:

Enter your email address:

Delivered by FeedBurner

Or, include a simple opt-in link: Subscribe to Data SystemsPlus by Email. Feel free to opt in to my blog list!

FeedBurner email is the way to go for blog announcement lists – it’s free, professional – looking and readers know they are not giving their email to be spammed with the one-click unsubscribe.

From: Andy Beard andybeard.eu

I was honestly wondering when someone would come up with a service like Share-A-Post, because it is one of those "no brainer" ideas that I have thought of doing, but never got around to.

When to a huge amount of disbelief I blocked some of my high ranking paid reviews with robots.txt, and hinted that syndication would be a perfect loophole in Google's penalties, no one fully understood what I meant – many SEO experts thought I was bonkers.

This is what I meant – widespread syndication with editorial control

The Limits of Traditional Article Marketing

Article marketing is all well and good, but is extremely limited

You can only use a fixed number of links in a post

Article directories are quite inflexible over affiliate links even if you have created

HTML formatting is frowned upon because the articles are often intended for email use

You can't use pictures

Most of the articles end up on very low value sites that have no readers

Whilst they often use categories, tag support is limited

Jonathan Ledger has come up with what at first glance seems to be the perfect service for submission and syndication of quality blog articles.

Article Submission

You sign up and add your blog – If you are smart, you will create a new user on your blog with username and password with low level privileges – don't enter your admin username and password – I trust Jonathan, but even large websites get hacked, why take the risk?

You make sure your blog is posting full content feeds

You add an entry to your ping list, so that when you update your blog, your article is automatically added to Share-A-Post

You use Technorati tags as normal, though only the first 5 will be used – that avoids tag spam

You can add multiple blogs

RSS Article Syndication

When you are short of content for one of your blogs, you can visit Share A Post, search for an appropriate article, and have it posted either as a draft or published article directly to one of your blogs.

The service uses XML-RPC to connect automatically, just like popular blogging software such as Microsoft Windows Live Writer, but that does require a username and password – hence why I suggested precautions when setting up.

The other advantage is that when you are posting a guest article on your blog, because it is posted as a different user, it can be given different emphasis, maybe a different symbol etc.

Duplicate Content

Lots of people will be worried about duplicate content due to syndication

Syndication is a good thing, and Google does a fairly good job of determining the original author, and the link that is being given back to your post will help – it even has good anchor text – at least I think a link is given back to the permalink – to be sure, you should probably use an RSS footer plugin, and maybe even create a smart looking author byline for each article that includes a link.

If you want some assurance that syndication is a good thing, one of the most authoritative I can think of is Vanessa Fox, who until recently was working for Google on Webmaster Central at SEO and Webmaster conferences. If the "book" we follow are Google's webmaster guidelines… guess what? She helped write it!

Recently on her personal blog she wrote a great article on how to rank as the original source for content you syndicate

With Jonathan's system you are not going to be able to ensure that content gets blocked with Robots.txt, and that has a negative aspect as well, because the links wouldn't count… you do want links don't you?
You are also not going to be able to ensure a different version of your article is published, unless you somehow specify in a license that your articles can be modified, such as a Creative Commons License that allows derivative and Commercial use or better.

Hopefully you will always get a link, but just like with article marketing, that can never be guaranteed

You will find situations if you have a new blog with not much authority that Google makes mistakes – that will most often be when a high authority blog picks up your article.

In a situation like that… just be happy, you will get great links, and your content will be exposed to 100s, or 1000s of new readers, and if enough blogs pick the article up, you will get more authority quicker from all the links, and hopefully lots of traffic and new subscribers.

Proof-reading

Just like article marketing, you are going to have to use just a little bit more care before you post, as any errors you make might not be fixable if your articles get syndicated.

Hopefully anyone syndicating an article will check back with the original blog to ensure the article is up-to-date, and I suggest they do that anyway, as you want to always ensure you are promoting content from what is a reputable blog that is well established.

Competitors?

It is so obvious… but none really

Well ok, I know Stompernet has some kind of content syndication network

I know Jack Humphrey used to syndicate his clients article content on a network, but not blog posts

There are various services which syndicate spun articles, but not blog posts

There are services that have their own blogs, where you post snippets of articles

Portal feeder has something similar for articles, I am not sure what is in Traffic Kahuna

There are plugins which feed articles from article banks to WordPress blogs

So whilst the idea is simple, you have to have confidence in content syndication and how duplicate content works before you think of doing something like this, which is why someone probably didn't do it before.

Powertip

If you are using standard tagging plugins, they will probably output tags in alphabetical order. That isn't a huge problem for the 5 tags that will be used to catalogue your post, but it is a factor for your backlink, because the anchortext used will be from your first tag.

The easy answer? Add a manual tag somewhere within your article

If you look closely you will see that I have linked through earlier in this post to my "syndication" tag on my blog, and I have manually added rel="tag" to the link.

Hopefully when this article is posted, the backlink to my blog will be "syndication". That is fairly powerful stuff.

OK Andy, How Much?

Jonathan says the following:-

BETA TESTERS WANTED
===================

This service is now up and running, and I'm looking for beta testers
to create free accounts and try it out. I need folks with blogs
who want to syndicate their content to super-charge their link
building, and I need folks who need top-notch content to post to
their own blogs.

As a beta tester, your account will always be 100% free. Syndicating
other folks content will always be free anyway, but I'm working on
a business model that MAY charge a monthly fee for being able to
have your content syndicated in this way. Or it may stay free
for everyone, I haven't decided.

At any rate, as a beta tester, you'll never pay a dime for the
service.

So why not go give it a try right now?

I hope Jonathan keeps it free

If he doesn't, I am sure there will be competitors who will do it for free, so it is much better keeping it free and advertising supported. If needed, get some VC money to cover operations, but that is unlikely to be needed.

This is beta, I haven't yet tested everything, I am going to see if I can find a guest post on Share A Post to try out.

Another Reason To Applaud Jonathan

I think anyone else who would have launched this, other than maybe myself, would have included some kind of spammy "viral" link back to the blog article syndication directory, in the footer of every article.
I have just seen my first article syndicated on a blog, and there is no link to Share A Post – that is a cool move.

Please don't syndicate posts without minor editing to at least remove all the related posts – whilst I love receiving 10+ links every time one of my articles is syndicated, I am not going to approve 10 pingbacks – I will just flag them as spam to avoid the annoyance in the future.
Single pingbacks are fine (I don't have nofollow on pingback links), or even to each editorial link within an article – you give me a link, you get a link back.

Sign Up!

If you sign up to Share A Post, you will find this article in their library – an easy way to share Share A Post with your readers is just syndicating this article.

Special note from Andy: To add some additional incentive to try out Share A Post, if you have written a very high quality paid review recently that would be suitable for my readers, I will gladly syndicate it on my primary domain as well – oh, and I won't be nofollowing any of the links, as it will be an editorial decision to publish it.

The ShareAPost service is automated, so contributing posts or incorporating posts into your blog is a snap. I began offering my blog posts as content, and to date several bloggers have incorporated my content, providing me with valuable backlinks.

Take a few minutes and set up a ShareAPost account – it’s free and if you are posting useful content, you’ll be amazed at the backlinks and traffic.

Post Update: Here is a great tool to actually use Twitter to make some money – Carl

If you haven’t heard of it before, Twitter is a micro blogging tool that allows you to write short messages (up to 140 characters at a time) that can be exchanged between friends, and posted for all to see. You can access Twitter via Web, Desktop Applications and even SMS. Here are 5 ways to use Twitter to generate more traffic.

1.Network with people in your niche – add them as friends and ask them to do the same, so they’ll get your updates when you tweet them. Don’t friend random people, try and create a beneficial relationship
with all parties involved.

2. Use a Twitter Search tool like Summize to see who is talking about your topic. Find out what the buzz is about your topic, who is talking about it, and then join in on the conversation and share your expertise and knowledge. Also use Summize to see what’s popular in the Twitter world, and try and create targeted content around that topic.

3. Let your followers and friends know about your new content – you can use a tool like Twitterfeed or manually update your twitter account when you post a new article, blog post or other piece of content. Your follower list is highly targeted – so they’ll want to know and read new content you’ve published. Not enough followers? Try creating Twitter exclusive content that will attract more followers and friends.

4. Solicit feedback on Twitter – ask friends and followers to give you feedback on new content, get their reactions, and continue the conversation on your blog or on Twitter.

5. Embed a Twitter box on your web page. Let visitors to your web site know that they can always be instantly updated – install a twitter box on your web site that updates with your latest tweets, and invite your website visitors to follow you on Twitter.

Twitter is a great way for getting in touch with other bloggers, promoting content, and increasing stickiness – use it well and you will increase your traffic, create buzz and establish a loyal following.

I have spent the last year marketing online, and frankly, I’m tired. I did make some good money this past year, but I earned every penny. I’ve marketed my own electronic products, promoted rebrandable e-books, sold on eBay, offered digital downloads, ran an affiliate program, created autoresponder messages, cloaked my affiliate links, tracked my sales, advertised on AdWords, promoted joint ventures, built an email list, created a blog, set up a merchant account, signed up for Clickbank, optimized my search engine position, created membership sites, did one-time offers, created DVD’s marketed PLR products, created product feeds, gave away free bonuses, tested my sales copy, used friendly urls, did keyword research, optimized my robots.txt, revised my permalink structure, created xml sitemaps, dropshipped products, wrote articles, syndicated my content, put a product on Amazon.com, sent a newsletter, submitted to social media sites, wrote paid reviews, and all of this while I regularly created fresh, engaging content on numerous blogs. I even managed to get one of my domains banned from Google. No wonder I’m tired.

Since I’ve done all of this stuff, I figured I could make some more money by telling you, gentle reader, how you can do it, too. I just don’t recommend you trying to do it all in one year’s time.

I’m in the process of turning this blog into an e-learning site where I’ll spill the goods on how to do all this stuff, and more. Stay tuned for updates.
